I’m Kutch, a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, with multiple specialty teaching credentials in Night Diving, Wrecks, Enriched Air, Deep Diving, Coral Conservation, and more. Since starting my scuba journey in Qatar in 2008, I’ve helped divers take their first breaths underwater and grow into confident explorers of the ocean.

What You’ll Learn

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is built around three main parts:

1. Knowledge Development

   • Learn diving theory (pressure, equipment, safety, dive planning).

   • Available in person or online via PADI eLearning – flexible and self-paced.

2. Confined Water Dives 

   • Practice key skills in a safe pool environment: breathing underwater, clearing your mask, buoyancy control, buddy procedures, emergency skills.

3. Open Water Dives

   • Put your skills into practice during four open water dives (usually in the sea).

   • Dive up to 18 meters (60 feet) with me guiding you step by step.

Course Details

• Duration: Typically 3–4 days (can be spread across weekends or customized).

• Depth Limit: 18 meters (60 feet) upon certification.

• Minimum Age: 10 years old (Junior Open Water Diver).

• Requirements: Basic swimming ability and comfort in water; medical form completed.

• Equipment: All scuba gear provided, fitted and explained before each dive.

Once certified, you can:

• Dive with a buddy anywhere in the world.

• Continue training with advanced courses like PADI Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air (Nitrox), or specialties such as Night Diving and Wreck Diving—all of which I teach at Dive with Kutch.
