I’m Kutch, your trainer at Dive with Kutch. Since beginning my diving journey in Qatar in 2008 and becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in Dubai (2022), I’ve earned multiple specialty teaching ratings including Deep Diving, Enriched Air, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Rescue Training, Coral Reef Conservation, and EFR Instructor. With this background, I’ll not only guide you through the Divemaster course but also coach you with the mindset and skills you’ll need for success in your future IDC.

What You’ll Learn in the Divemaster Course

1. Leadership Skills

   • Become a role model diver with advanced supervision skills.

   • Learn to organize, brief, and guide certified divers.

2. Assisting in Training

   • Work alongside a PADI Instructor (that’s me) to assist with student courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Rescue Diver.

   • Gain real-world teaching experience.

3. Dive Planning & Management

   • Supervise dive activities, map dive sites, and manage logistics.

   • Improve your rescue techniques and problem-solving in water.

4. Knowledge Development

   • Dive theory: physics, physiology, decompression theory, equipment, environment, and standards.

   • Prepares you directly for Instructor-level training (IDC).

Course Details

• Duration: Flexible – usually 4–8 weeks depending on pace and practice opportunities.

• Minimum Age: 18 years old.

• Prerequisites:

  • PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent).

  • EFR training completed within 24 months.

  • Minimum 40 logged dives to start, 60 to certify.

• Includes: Full PADI Divemaster Crew Pack, personal coaching, and real-world internship-style training.
